Fall Scrap Buster Retreat!

The time has come for our next retreat! Take a look at the schedule below with picture of the projects we are planning for this retreat. This round is all about using up those tiny scraps. We all keep them, can’t bear to part with them, refuse to toss them, so instead turn those tiny scraps into something beautiful and just maybe, your new favorite piece! Sign ups are available here on the website, but if you have any questions, please feel free to contact or stop into either store location!

Pricing is based a la carte, meaning you choose which classes you want to participate in and add only those to your cart and pay for each one. The only required purchase is your registration which guarantees you a spot in the class or classes of your choice. We will have open sew time available as well. Kits for the classes are included as shown or available for purchase, if you choose a class but don’t want to buy our kit then we will send you a supply list for the project!

Scrap Buster Fall Retreat Schedule

Santa Clara, Utah ~ Logan, Utah

October 25-27, 2018

Location: Our retreat and classes will be held at the Roost in St. George, Utah. The address is: 1075 South 900 East, St. George, Utah.

Registration Fee: $35 (non-refundable) this is required to guarantee your place in any of your chosen classes.

Thursday:

Class: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. “Serendipity” Utilizing scraps, including in the background, this quilt will bring a pop of color to any room and clear out that scrap bin! Finished Size: 45″ x 60″ Cost: $25 (Kit: $45)

Lunch

Class: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. “Miniature Paper Piecing” This amazing paper pieced design can us up any type of light and dark scraps to make this design! Finished Size: 18″ x 18″ Cost: $25 (Kit: $24)

TRUNK SHOW THURSDAY 7 p.m. at the Clover Patch Quilt Shop in Santa Clara. Come see what our shop is working on, and take a peek at our NEW classroom space created to better bring fun classes and projects to you!

OPEN SEW available during class time if not taking one of the above class times and after the Trunk Show. Cost: $25 (good for all days)

Friday:

Class: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. “Family Reunion Table Runner” This fun runner will use all of those prints you love that need a fun place to be. Use your favorite pieces and turn them into vehicles for your camping family reunion! Finished Size: 18″ x 72″  Cost: $40 (Kit included)

Lunch

Class: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. “Saguaro Cactus Quilt” This quilt takes scrappy green cactus to a new level of fun when combined with a vibrant pink background. Finished Size: 60″ x 75″ Cost: $25 (Kit: $60)

OPEN SEW available in the evening and during class time if not taking one of the above classes.

Saturday:

Class: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. “String Star” The last class of the retreat has the most freedom. With no specific color scheme, bring all those tiny pieces you love but can’t bear to part with. Make them into this scrappy star and show off your favorite prints that you have leftover! Finished Size: each star is 12″ x 12″ Cost: $40 (Kit included)

FINISH by 1 p.m.

We currently do not have accommodations available for this retreat. Lunch and snacks are provided throughout the retreat. Please let us know if you have any questions!
