This class will teach basic terminology, the importance of measuring and rotary cutting, piecing and sewing with accurate seam allowances, pressing, and planning your quilt as you stitch your rows together. Students will come away with confidence in their basic skills to make a quilt. Then the follow up class is adding borders to a quilt top, getting it ready for machine quilting and finishing up with binding. Pattern is included.
